ARTIST BIOS

Jenn Adams - Musician/Swing (they/he/she) Jenn is a multidisciplinary artist based out of Philadelphia. Recent credits include Twelfth Night (Feste), Alice in Wonderland (White Rabbit), and A Queer Christmas Carol (Young Scrooge).

Jai Bonaparte - Assistant Production Designer Jai is excited to join the SCP family and partake in his first professional production! A recent graduate of The Haverford School for Boys, Jai has designed and fabricated for productions including The Addams Family, One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest, and Beauty and The Beast. He’s been nominated for the Philadelphia Independence Awards and won at the Greater Philadelphia Cappies for his work. Jai will attend the Savannah College of Art and Design this fall.

Wyatt Flynn - Dromio (they/them) Wyatt is a performance artist/musician from Philadelphia. They got their degree in musical  theater from Temple University. They are excited to be returning to Shakespeare In Clark Park for a second season. You may have seen them on stage with Jaffe St Queer productions, The Hum’n’bards Theater Troupe, Shakespeare at Stoneleigh, Hella Fresh Theater co., and other independent productions.  They are also a children’s musician, teaching artist, and a founding member of The Hum’n’bards theater troupe. Katie Frazer - Tour & Special Programs Manager (she/her) Katie is the co-owner of Love Drunk Life with her amazing creative partner Brandon Monokian. Love Drunk Life is an arts production and creative lifestyle company working to cultivate theatre, film, and product for the artistic soul. With Love Drunk Life, Katie has produced new works in both theatre and film. Producer (Theatre): The Murder & Booze Cabaret (Philadelphia Fringe, Jersey Fringe, and in collaboration with Powerhouse Theatre and the New Canaan Library), amethyst (Philadelphia Fringe in collaboration with Every Library), Herlock Sholmes and the Mysterious Case of the Jersey Devil or The Living Dragon (Philadelphia Fringe), The Most Awkward Love Life of Peabody Magoo (Philadelphia Fringe and Jersey Fringe). Producer (Film): Self Tape, Tree Time, Happy Yummy Chicken (Distributed by Gravitas Venture and available on iTunes and Amazon). Katie is currently working on a new musical with her amazing husband and gifted musician, Sam Kwietniak. The husband and wife pair also perform music together and are coming soon to an open mic near you. She recently joined the Advisory Committee of Theatre Contra where she will be working with an amazing group of theatre makers on an amazing 2024 season. Vic Gill-Gomez - Production Designer (they/them) is a local scenic designer and technician in Philadelphia. They currently serve as non-teaching faculty at The Haverford School, working as the Technical Assistant of Centennial Hall. They received their undergraduate degree from Washington College on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Previous collaborations include Shakespeare in Clark Park, Lightning Rod Special, Wolf Performing Arts Center, The Sonder Space, and Swarthmore College. Love to Shawn and Iz.

Kishia Nixon - Adriana (she/her) This is Kishia's first time working with SCP and she is extremely excited! Last season Kishia was part of the Barrymore Award Winning Ensemble of Clyde’s at The Arden Theatre Co. Other recent credits include Adriana in Comedy or the Errors (yup, doubling up!) with Lantern Theatre Company, Bonecruncher in BFG, with The Arden Theater Co. She has worked with many other regional theaters such as Theatre Exile, The Wilma, Die-cast, and more. Thank you to everyone who is involved with this production! And a huge shout out to my cast mate, my fiance, Joyous, I love you. 

Minou Pourshariati - Angela/Luciana (she/her) Minou is an Iranian-American actor, maker, and Philly native. She is excited to work with SCP again, having previously appeared in The Taming! Minou has also performed locally with Delaware Shakespeare (Cymbeline Community Tour), Opera Philadelphia/Obvious Agency (Toshio Hosokawa's The Raven), EgoPo (Alice: not your child's...), Inis Nua (The Night Alive), Revolution Shakespeare, Commonwealth Classic Theatre, and more, as well as at the National Constitution Center (Living News). Minou trained at the British American Drama Academy (LTP ’13) and is a proud member of Philadelphia Asian Performing Artists. Megan Schumacher - Playwright (she/her) A recent alum of The Foundry at PlayPenn, a member of the Playwrights Cohort at PlayPenn, and a recipient of Villanova’s 2021 Sue Winge Playwriting Award for her play, Laundry, Megan Schumacher is a Philadelphia-based playwright (Unprecedented, ...and Stones, Dionté and Khai Do Dinner, Superlosers), director (Philadelphia Fringe Festival, Arcadia University), and dramaturg (Quintessence, Inis Nua). Shamus - Director (he/him) Shamus is the Producing Artistic Director of Shakespeare in Clark Park where he directed last year’s production of Two Gentlemen of Verona the musical, heralded as a “summer stunner” by Broad Street Review. Recent credits: Spring Awakening at University of Pennsylvania, Urinetown at Rutgers-Camden, Hannah Parke’s Birth.Sparkle.Death for Cannonball Fest/Philly Fringe, Playwrights’ Center (J.C. Pankratz’s Little Kingdom), Boston Playwrights Theatre (Jay Eddy’s Alligator-A-Phobia in 3D! and Pankratz’s Eat Your Young), PlayPenn (Kevin Esmond’s Vintage Illustrations of the Devil), Samuel French Off-Off-Broadway Festival (Eddy’s Big Red Button), National Puppetry Conference at the O’Neill Theater Center. Jennifer Summerfield - Emilia/Courtesan (she/her) Jennifer has performed as Lady Macbeth and Medea at Hedgerow Theatre, Marie Antoinette in David Adjmi’s reimagining of the French queen’s tragic life at Curio Theatre, a site specific production of Hedda Gabler at the historic Physick House, and world premieres of Osceola and Alpe d’Huez, both written for her by John Rosenberg. She has also played Horatio in Hamlet, Van Helsing in Dracula, and Brutus in Julius Caesar. Most recently, she appeared at New York's Actor's Temple for the Off-Broadway premiere of Out of the Apple Orchard.  In 2018, she was commissioned by the Rosenbach Museum and Library to write and perform a one-person show about Mary Shelley, in honor of the 200th anniversary of the publication of Frankenstein. She went on to tour this production to area libraries, and during quarantine in 2020, created a filmed version of the finished piece, Mary Shelley: Strange Star.

Matthew Tepfer - Stage Manager (he/him) Matthew is a stage manager from Haddon Heights, NJ. He is currently pursuing a BA in Theater Design and Technology from Rutgers Camden. He has stage managed recent Rutgers productions such as Urinetown, Triumph of Love and Hedda Gabler. He is looking forward to his first production with Shakespeare in Clark Park! He would like to thank his partner Taylor and his cats Khloe and Kylo for the endless amount of support and love!

Joyous Whitfield - Antipholus (they/them) Joyous was last seen at Shakespeare in Clark Park in Everyman. They are a proud teaching artist and performer who has worked throughout the community including PlayPenn, Beacon Theatre Productions, Azuka, Die-Cast & others.
